Dixon Hughes Goodman, a U.S. top 20 public accounting and advisory firm, is pleased to announce John Seymour has been admitted as a partner, effective June 1, 2019. John serves clients in the firm’s Dealerships industry practice.

Based in DHG’s Atlanta, Georgia office, John has more than 11 years of experience serving clients in the automotive, heavy truck, and marine dealership industries. John focuses on an assurance and consulting practice that includes financial statement audits, financial statement reviews, employee benefit plan audits, internal audit, financial due diligence, and buy/sell advisory engagements.

John serves dealership companies ranging in size from single point stores to dealerships with more than 80 locations and $9 billion in revenues. He also provides support in the information technology area for his clients. John has served on various committees and roles within DHG including the dealership assurance leadership group, financial review/oversight group, and the NADA (National Automobile Dealers Association) team.

In addition to providing superior client service and technical knowledge to his clients, John has also authored several articles and whitepapers regarding key dealership trends as featured in key publications such as Automotive Buy Sell Report and Digital Dealer. He has presented for various dealership organizations including NCM 20 Groups and the Marine Dealer Conference & Expo, been a guest lecturer at the University of Georgia and presented internal trainings and webinars.
