Longtime award-winning Atlanta public relations agency Hope-Beckham Inc. (HBI) announced the recent promotion of Wendy Hsiao to vice president. In her new role, Hsiao will be responsible for overseeing the quality of service for HBI’s client roster, sourcing new business prospects, managing all staff, and maximizing the public relations and communications effectiveness of the organization, both internally and externally. Hsiao previously held the position of account director.
“Wendy is smart and has worked hard to earn this promotion. She has done a good job of coordinating the work of our staff, and I am excited to see how she performs in this new role,” said Bob Hope, president and co-founder. “She is a strong talent with a bigger than life personality who is fully capable of getting even better and better as time goes by.”
During her years in the industry, Hsiao has gathered extensive experience in public relations, event marketing and digital media. She has been profiled by several publications including The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Atlantan Magazine and VoyageATL. She was recently named an honoree in the Top Women in Communications for the Leader category by Ragan Communications and PR Daily.
Hsiao is a graduate of The University of Georgia where she earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and a certificate in digital media. She is a member of PRSA and on the communications committee for the UGA Atlanta Alumni Association. She also serves as a mentor for the University of Georgia.
