Atlanta Habitat for Humanity announces new board officers, directors, and advisory council members for 2021.
Danielle Cheung, Senior Vice President and Market Executive at Bank of America, will serve as board chairperson. Cheung joined the Atlanta Habitat board in 2017 and later served as vice-chair for two years. John Goff, Managing Principal of the DaVinci Development Collaborative, LLC and former member, returns to the board this year. Goff will become the new vice-chair. Kristina Kopf Thomas, Partner Eversheds Sutherland, is the board secretary. Thomas joined the board in 2017. Joel Glasco, Southeast Regional President at Wells Fargo, joined the board in 2020. He will serve as board treasurer this year.
New board members are Isabelle Helms, Vice President, Research and Market Intelligence at Cox Automotive, a Cox Enterprises company; Patrick Boushka, Executive Vice President of Building Products at Georgia-Pacific; Mike Hibbison, Vice President, Lumber Merchandising at Home Depot; and Amber Murray Director and Deputy General Counsel at Jamestown, a privately held real estate investment and management company.
Atlanta Habitat board members serve three-year terms and are volunteers from various backgrounds with the resources, wisdom, and passion for leading in constructive, effective, and meaningful ways. The board is responsible for setting the organization's overall direction, including strategic goals, finances, and governance policies.
Atlanta Habitat also welcomed Althea Broughton, Partner, Arnold Golden Gregory, LLP, Real Estate Practice, to its Advisory Council.

Atlanta Habitat and its board of directors and advisory council will see construction begin on Browns Mill Village, a $25 million affordable home community, and a second Atlanta Habitat ReStore and Service Center open in South Fulton County in 2021.
