Community invited to don purple, gold and green for a New Orleans-themed evening along the Boulevard

WHAT: On Tuesday, Feb. 16, the community is invited to let the good times roll while partaking in the sixth annual Mardi Gras celebration at Avalon, the Alpharetta mixed-use destination. In honor of the last day of the Carnival season, friends and families are invited to enjoy a New Orleans-themed bash and experience the Boulevard transforms into North Fulton’s own Bourbon Street.

Beginning at 5 p.m., guests can stop by Concierge to collect their passport and pre-packaged masks and beads for the evening. Throughout the event, guests are invited to visit Avalon’s chef-driven restaurants to earn a passport stamp and relish New Orleans-themed cocktails and cuisines, while also enjoying live jazz music by the Atlanta Crawdaddies. Guests who collect at least two stamps on their passport will be entered for a chance to win the Mardi Gras at Avalon prize package, which includes a skincare package from AYA Medical Spa, a five class pack and wellness bundle from Club Pilates, a $100 giftcard to Oak Steakhouse, and more.

Throughout the festivities, guests can enjoy exclusive specials and deals. A pop-up bar will be set up to the left of Concierge, offering classic Hurricanes, signature Electric Lemonades, beer and wine for guests aged 21 and older. Participating restaurants include Barleygarden Kitchen & Craft Bar, Branch & Barrel, Marlow’s Tavern and Oak Steakhouse.
