The Atlanta office of Duke Realty (NYSE: DRE), the leading domestic-focused industrial-only property REIT in the country, has secured a lease extension with current tenant Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC for a larger space in East Point near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The national home goods retailer has occupied space in Duke Realty’s Camp Creek Business Center since 2016 and will move to a larger warehouse with 336,960 square feet of space in the same development park at 4505 North Commerce Drive.

“Duke Realty’s modern, well-located properties in the metro Atlanta area truly meet the needs of our customers – so much so, that Ashley Furniture didn’t have to search beyond our nearby properties to find a state-of-the-art space large enough to accommodate its growth,” said Wes Hardy, vice president of leasing and development for Duke Realty in Atlanta. “By building trusting relationships with our tenants, we anticipate their needs. In fact, as Ashley Furniture was looking to expand, another facility within the development park became available making for a smooth transition.”

In 2020, as we experienced increased demand and company growth, Duke Realty was able to help us find additional space very quickly and with limited disruption.”

Duke Realty’s Camp Creek development in East Point is 98 percent leased. In all, Duke Realty boasts more than 13 million square feet of space in the Atlanta market and continues to expand its portfolio.
