JLL Awarded Leasing Assignment for Bright Star Logistics Center in Douglasville

Multi-building industrial park can accommodate up to 2.8 million square feet of current and future development

JLL Atlanta’s industrial brokerage team has been awarded the exclusive leasing assignment for Bright Star Logistics Center. As one of the largest industrial opportunities in metro Atlanta, this multi-building industrial park in Douglasville features 855,000 square feet of existing warehouse space, a 271,875-square-foot spec cross-dock facility, and land to accommodate an additional two million square feet of development. JLL Managing Directors Chris Tomasulo and Bob Currie, Executive Vice President Reed Davis and Senior Vice President Brad Pope will lead marketing and leasing efforts for the center on behalf of the owner, The Silverman Group.

Bright Star Logistics Center is a multi-phase project that consists of two existing and occupied cross-dock buildings, totaling 600,000 square feet, as well as a newly delivered spec building spanning 271,875 square feet. The buildings are equipped with 36’ and 40’ clear heights and abundant automobile and trailer parking spaces. Additional land creates the opportunity for an additional two million square feet of future development.

Located just 20 miles outside of Downtown Atlanta, Bright Star Logistics Center offers immediate access to I-20, and is a 30-minute drive from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The park is also in close proximity to FedEx and UPS shipping hubs, as well as CSX and Norfolk Southern intermodal transportation.

According to JLL’s Q3 Industrial Insight, well over 100 tenants are currently surveying the market, with 4.3 million square feet of new deals expected to close before the year’s end. Despite the challenges created by the pandemic, Atlanta’s industrial supply continues to keep pace with demand, signaling another quarter of growth for the sector.
