Experience a special viewing party, mimosa kits, a live DJ and more
WHAT: Midtowners, let your PRIDE shine and join Colony Square for Rainbows + Mimosas, a socially distanced experience showcasing highlights from Atlanta Magazine’s Virtual Conversation Series celebrating 50 years of Atlanta Pride. On Friday, Oct. 30, the community is invited to gather in the new open-air Plaza for light bites, bubbles, swag and more while enjoying the broadcast on a giant LED screen. Tickets are now on sale and all proceeds benefit Lost-n-Found Youth, a local nonprofit dedicated to eradicating homelessness in the LGBTQ+ community and all sexual minority youth.
Starting at 10:15 a.m., ticket holders will have access to The Plaza, and socially distanced rainbow rings are first come, first-served. Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed with rainbow swag, lively Britney Spears mash-ups and mimosa kits, complete with snacks and beverages for guests to enjoy throughout the event. Around 10:45 a.m., Lost-n-Found Youth will take the stage to share more about the organization and its impact on the Atlanta community, as well as a youth’s story whose life has been positively impacted by the organization. At 11 a.m., the viewing party will begin with highlights of all three virtual conversations followed by an iconic (and toxic) surprise guest appearance.
Tickets for the Rainbows + Mimosas viewing party are on sale for $40 per social distance rainbow ring and can accommodate a maximum of four people per ring. Guests are encouraged to bring their own tailgate chairs.
