SRS Real Estate Partners is pleased to announce Nhan Le and Skip Englebrecht, owners of 8 Arm and Octopus Bar, are opening a new seafood retail concept, Fishmonger. Slated to open early spring 2021, the 750 square foot boutique market will be located in the iconic Plaza on Ponce shopping center.
Fishmonger will offer fresh regional seafood for retail and wholesale as well as a small daily to-go lunch menu in a boutique style environment. Featuring house-made white fish salads, house-made bottarga, regional oysters, soups, and sandwiches.
"We’ve been looking for just the right spot to open this concept, and when we saw the space, we knew it was perfect,” said owner Skip Englebrecht. “There really isn’t anything like this in Atlanta. We are excited to share our love of regional seafood with the city.”
Plaza on Ponce, in Atlanta's Poncey-Highland neighborhood, is home to two Atlanta landmarks. The Plaza Theatre, the oldest cinema in operation since 1939, and the Majestic Diner, the 1929-established eatery. Other tenants include Georgia Boy/Southern Belle by Chef Joey Ward, Jinya Ramen Bar, the Righteous Room, Urban Outfitters and Insomnia Cookies.
