Lincoln Property Company Southeast Partners with Servidyne to Secure WELL Health-Safety Ratings for 27 Metro Atlanta Office Buildings

9/9/20

In partnership with Servidyne, Lincoln Property Company Southeast (Lincoln) has aided 27 buildings throughout the metro Atlanta area and 35 in total throughout the country in achieving WELL Health-Safety ratings amidst office reentry. Lincoln’s Director of Engineering Jesse Kave oversees the consultation program in the Southeast, along with Servidyne’s Principal Barry Abramson.

“While most landlords and management teams are following the basic protocols set in place by the CDC and other health organizations, tenants and employees are closely monitoring how building owners are taking additional steps to protect their health and safety as they reenter the office,” said Lincoln’s Kave. “We saw an opportunity to use our management horsepower to pursue a fairly new program and support building owners through a proactive approach to health and safety, ensuring our clients’ properties could reopen with confidence amidst COVID-19.”

In recent months, WELL has capitalized on the need for a more condensed platform geared toward owners faced with office reentry by launching the WELL Health-Safety Rating for Facility Operations and Management. The certification is an evidence-based, third-party verified rating for all facility types, focused on operational policies, maintenance protocols, emergency plans and stakeholder education to address a post-pandemic environment now and broader health and safety-related issues down the road.

Lincoln is one of more than 100 early adopters of the program, among other leading organizations and iconic buildings across the globe. Through Lincoln, building owners can seek health and safety consultation in order to identify areas in which they can improve and meet the certification guidelines.

The multi-item checklist features six categories, with a number of subsets, including anything from reducing surface contact and providing sick leave for employees, to assessing ventilation and air treatment systems and developing a Legionella management plan to reduce risks in the future.
