Board Additions Include Leaders from Across Atlanta’s Startup Ecosystem
Startup Atlanta, a community non-profit organization focused on connecting, curating and promoting the Atlanta Startup Ecosystem, has announced the addition of five new executive board members.
Joining the board of directors are:
Allyson Eman is the Chief Executive Officer of Venture Atlanta. Venture Atlanta is the premier investor showcase in the Southeast. The conference brings the most innovative technology companies together with top-tier investors from around the country. It is an opportunity for anyone who works with emerging technology companies or investors to network, interact and make great connections.
Christy Brown is the President of Launchpad2X. Christy has almost 20 years of executive leadership as a founder, venture capital investor, futurist and executive leader spanning multiple geographies and industries. Most recently, Christy led the expansion of the venture capital investment platform Loeb Enterprises into Atlanta where she architected the investment model, hiring strategy, vision, mission, and strategy for Loeb’s expansion beyond their NYC headquarters. “I was extremely proud of the team I selected, the ecosystem support from the Atlanta community and the rapid adoption across the Southeast of the investment model that Loeb provided” stated Christy.
Evan Jarecki is the Co-Founder of Gimme Vending which was named best B2B startup in the 2018 Atlanta Startup Awards. Gimme helps convenience service and grocery delivery operators automate merchandising through a best in class VMS platform.
Jennifer Singh is a technology executive with over 15 years of experience spanning commercial and product management leadership roles. She pioneered a variety of fraud prevention, cybersecurity and fintech solutions and grew successful businesses at both startup and global organizations. Jen is the Co-Founder and City Director of Atlanta’s House of Genius chapter, a community that helps entrepreneurs overcome challenges.
Joey Womack leads WeWork’s entrepreneurship program in Atlanta as Labs Manager, a hybrid physical space and dedicated support program for the city’s most promising early stage startups. Joey is also the Founder of Goodie Nation, a tech nonprofit that accelerates relationships to influencers, large companies, and investors/funders for the next generation of promising diverse founders and social entrepreneurs. He is also the Founder of Amplify 4 Good, a mission-driven agency that uses rapid problem-solving to help large companies, nonprofits, and government agencies create social impact, and Co-Founder of Atlanta Black Tech.
