WHAT: To celebrate the return of our Atlanta Braves, Avalon in Alpharetta invites the community to root for the home team during Braves on the Boulevard, a watch party event in the Plaza. On Wednesday, Aug. 12 from 6 to 10 p.m., ticketed guests can head to the Boulevard to experience the game live on the jumbo screen and indulge in tailgate sips and snacks – all while safely watching the Atlanta Braves take on the New York Yankees.
Throughout the event, 10-foot social distance diamonds will be sprinkled in the Plaza to ensure distance between groups. For a traditional game day experience, two pop-up bars will be conveniently located around the Plaza so baseball fans can enjoy their favorite brew or cocktail. Avalon’s restaurants will also be available for guests to pick up food to take back to the diamonds. Guests are encouraged to bring their own tailgate chairs.
Tickets for the diamond spaces must be purchased in advance from Avalon’s website for $30, with a maximum of four people per diamond. Tickets are limited and diamond spots will be granted on a first come, first-served basis upon arrival. All ticket proceeds will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
