On Thursday, August 6, Chairman Pitts will distribute 8,000 masks and 300 face goggles to members of the South Fulton Chamber of Commerce. Distribution of the PPE will begin at 10:30 AM and end at Noon.

The personal protective equipment (PPE) was a gift of kindness from our international partners, Taoyuan City Government to help business owners in Fulton County. “I am very appreciative of this kind gesture on the part of our friends in Taoyuan. We, Atlanta & Fulton County, have had a long relationship with the people of Taoyuan which began many years ago under the leadership of Mayor Maynard Jackson but it continues to bear fruit. To Secretary Liang Cheri Chia Chun Liang, on behalf of the Board of Commissioners of Fulton County, but more importantly the people of Fulton County, I say thank you.” said Chairman Pitts.

Ms. Y. Dyan Matthews, President and CEO of the South Fulton Chamber of Commerce said, “We genuinely appreciate Chairman Pitts’ donation of 8,000 face masks and goggles to the South Fulton Chamber's small businesses. This huge donation of these essential supplies will assist the small businesses in our community to keep their staff and customers safe during this pandemic.”

Sandtown Pub, located at 5819 Campbellton Road SW, Suite 202, Atlanta, Georgia 30331, will serve as the pickup location for the PPE.
