Authentic Thai and Japanese cuisine joins culinary mix at Midtown’s premier mixed-use destination

Atlantic Station welcomed SriThai Kitchen & Sushi, an authentic Thai and Japanese fine dining concept, to the mixed-use destination on July 1. The locally owned restaurant is the latest tenant addition as the development continues to diversify its expanding culinary lineup as part of an exciting property transformation.
SriThai Kitchen & Sushi, with two locations in Duluth and Snellville, will introduce its first intown location at Atlantic Station. The 4,852-square-foot restaurant is open for dine-in customers, to-go orders and delivery services, with plans for an official grand opening celebration to come soon.
“Midtown is the most diverse part of Atlanta, and we continue to evolve our food and beverage offerings to reflect that,” said Nick Garzia, director of retail leasing at Hines. “Adding SriThai Kitchen & Sushi Bar to our restaurant lineup speaks true to our mission of listening to the community and providing our guests with more and better choices. Atlantic Station is a true mixed-use environment with no rival in scale anywhere in the metro area. We believe our focus on local food and beverage operators supplemented with national retailers is a winning formula.”
Voted as the Best Real Deal Thai in Atlanta by Atlanta Magazine, SriThai Kitchen & Sushi offers authentic and fresh Thai and Japanese cuisine, featuring favorites such as coconut betel leaves, grilled Thai sausage, sashimi, makimono and nigiri. Located above The Pig & The Pearl, SriThai will be open until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
“We are excited to bring our 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry to a place that embraces authentic dining experiences,” said Winn Mekpongsatorn, owner of SriThai. “Our Thai- and Japanese-inspired dishes will bring a unique element to Atlantic Station’s retail and restaurant mix, and we are proud to introduce our cuisine to the Midtown community.”
The announcement of SriThai Kitchen & Sushi comes on the heels of three major tenant additions to the Atlantic Station roster. Atlantic Station is nearing completion on its property and tenant transformation with its recently completed central greenspace, Atlantic Green, and the property’s newest experiential offering, Bowlero, slated to open later this year.
