Cobb County School District slated to convert building into school
Lincoln Property Company Southeast (Lincoln) has arranged the sale of 1765 The Exchange, a 90,677-square-foot, five-story Class B office building within the heart of the Cumberland submarket of Atlanta. Lincoln’s Jeff Henson and George Gwaltney represented the seller, Capridge Partners. Dan Buyers with McWhirter Realty Partners represented the buyer, Cobb County School District.
“Cobb County continues to be of metro Atlanta’s most rapidly growing submarkets,” said Lincoln’s Henson. “This is a great outcome and big win for all parties involved as Cobb County has exciting plans for the property that the whole county and community will benefit from.”
The five-story building sits on slightly more than six acres, surrounded by a beautifully landscaped park-like setting. With unbeatable ingress and egress to I-285, I-75, Windy Hill Road, Delk Road and US Highway 41. The property is also only two miles from Truist Park and a short drive to first class retail and dining options, including the Cumberland Galleria Mall and Vinings Jubilee.
