Scott Himelhoch
PulteGroup’s West Florida Division has announced the addition of Scott Himelhoch as Vice President of Land Acquisition. Himelhoch will be responsible for contracting and purchasing of new land in support of PulteGroup’s initiatives. His team’s focus will be on land acquisitions in Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Marion, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk Counties.
“Scott brings almost 20 years of homebuilding experience to our team, with special insight into land acquisitions,” said Sean Strickler, President of Pulte’s West Florida division. “Our objective is to focus on significant growth within the communities we serve—and the ones we want to serve, and with Scott’s insight and experience we will be able to do just that.”
In 2002, Himelhoch joined Pulte’s corporate office in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and then went on to join the company’s Customer Relations team in Phoenix, Arizona. He managed a field team of 20 employees in quality assurance and warranty management for the division’s 850+ annual closings. In 2008, Himelhoch joined AVID Ratings and provided consulting services to numerous homebuilder clients in Canada and the U.S. His efforts focused on business process and quality improvement, customer satisfaction initiatives and referral marketing. Over the last several years he has led the land acquisition efforts of a major homebuilder in the Tampa Bay region.
Himelhoch graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He went on to receive his Master of Business Administration from University of South Florida.
