Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Extends Deadline for Development Opportunities for Airport-owned Land

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) has extended two deadlines for developers and investors seeking long-term ground lease and development opportunities on land near the airport.

The City of Atlanta Procurement Department has extended the due date for questions about the properties to Wednesday, February 19, 2020.

Current opportunities include four properties spanning approximately 200 acres, all located outside of the secure area of the airport. The airport is looking to vet a myriad of concepts for the properties including retail, industrial, office and others. The extended deadline for bid packages is April 1, 2020.

As part of Aerotropolis Atlanta and Airport City, the development of the sites near the ATL will support job creation, community revitalization, and economic growth for the region.
