Dan Meehan has joined Arkadios as one of its directors of business development for the fast-growing hybrid advisory and broker-dealer firm.

Meehan comes to Arkadios from Kalos Financial, where he served as a senior vice president and director of business development. He successfully recruited Series 7 registered representatives to affiliate with Kalos with a focus on advisors who use alternative investments as a part of their client portfolios.

“Arkadios Capital is a rapidly-growing hybrid independent broker-dealer,” said Meehan. “We are well-positioned to appeal to successful financial advisors that want to take their business to higher levels. I am excited to join the dynamic firm.”

Investment advisors created Arkadios with investment advisors in mind. Taking the lessons learned from more than three decades in wirehouses and as a successful RIA, founder and CEO David Millican forged a hybrid model that puts advisors and their clients first, while offering a full suite of business development and succession solutions.

“Dan comes to Arkadios with nearly a decade of experience helping to grow an independent broker-dealer,” said Millican. “He will serve an integral role as we continue to grow this company and assist our clients as they meet their financial goals.”

Financial Planning magazine named Arkadios Capital the fastest-growing independent broker-dealer in its annual IBD Elite survey. The firm grew by 124% over the last year to $13MM in annual revenue, earning the No. 1 ranking on the IBD Elite survey.
