Chelsea Rosen
Atlanta’s “Best Places to Work” winner and 25-year-old public relations agency Hope-Beckham Inc. (HBI) announced today that Chelsea Rosen is the winner in the Nonprofit/Association category at this year’s PRNEWS PR People Awards. Winners were announced at the PR People Awards Luncheon in Washington D.C. earlier today.
Rosen has extensive experience creating first-year fundraising events for nonprofits. Some of her most successful events have been for MAP International (MAP), a Georgia-based, Christian organization that provides medical and health supplies to people in need worldwide. In 2017, Rosen helped MAP establish an annual fundraising initiative for their ongoing work around the world to raise awareness of MAP’s humanitarian efforts in the medical and corporate communities.
In 2019, Rosen helped Christian City, an organization with programs for neglected and runaway youth, affordable living for seniors and more, create an inaugural fundraising event, the Community Champion Awards. These awards supported Christian City’s Safe Place program for runaway and homeless youth.
Christian City raised $130,000 at their inaugural event.
“Chelsea has been a tremendous asset to the company and her clients,” said Paul Beckham, chairman. “We are thrilled that she is getting the recognition she deserves.”
Rosen received her B.A. in magazine journalism from the University of Georgia. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
