Lincoln Property Company Southeast (Lincoln) announced US Xpress signed a new lease at Circa 730. Lincoln’s Michael Howell, Hunter Henritze, Caroline Fisher and Matt Fergus handle leasing on behalf of the owner, Crestlight Capital.
US Xpress, one of the nation’s largest truckload carriers, signed a 9,228-square-foot lease at the Midtown office building and will occupy a recently created loft space on the first floor. This unique space features 16-foot ceilings, roll-up glass garage doors and an outdoor patio. Paul Holmes of CBRE represented the tenant.
Circa 730 is a dynamic, workday-to-night office environment that revolves around the life and workstyles of Atlanta’s Midtown Techtangle. The recently repositioned building received a renovation in excess of $6M. Upgrades on the first floor include an enhanced lobby with a new fitness center, showers and lockers; conference center; grab and go food options; and bike storage. In addition, five new high-end spec suites featuring an exclusive “social hub” were designed to deliver a better workday.
Formerly named 730 Midtown, Circa 730 has also added an inviting patio, sculptural suspension swings on the Circa 730 Porch and the city’s first interactive pixel wall to its amenity lineup. In addition to the renovations, the building will be home to El Viñedo Local, translated as “The Local Vineyard,” which will be a wine and coffee bar where guests will have the opportunity to experience South American inspired and sourced fare. The restaurant’s menu will include empanadas, ceviche and South American coffee blends. El Viñedo Local will feature a unique space, designed by Atlanta-based design firm Habachy Designs. The restaurant plans to open first quarter of 2020.
“Today’s employees demand flexibility and inspiration from their work environments. Recently redesigned Circa 730 meets those needs, pushing tenants to the next level of productivity and creativity,” said Lincoln’s Fergus. “We’re excited to welcome US Xpress to the building.”
Circa 730 is located within walking distance of the North Avenue and Midtown MARTA stations. The building is just a short distance from many of Atlanta’s most popular attractions and landmarks, including the Fox Theater and Georgia Tech’s Technology Square. Circa 730 also offers easy access to Interstates 75 and 85.
