Tickets now on sale for sky-high craft beer tasting experience benefiting Susan G. Komen Foundation
This October, craft brews, lite bites and breathtaking views are back on the helipad at Midtown’s Colony Square. Set 320 feet in the air, Brews in The Sky is a seasonal and weekly event series that offers guests the unique opportunity to sample a selection of autumn-inspired craft beers from various breweries between Oct. 3 and 24. In honor of breast cancer awareness month, all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
“Fall is the perfect season to invite the community to enjoy specialty brews above the heart of Midtown, and we can’t wait to welcome this year’s amazing lineup of breweries to Colony Square’s helipad,” said Sara Carville, marketing manager for Colony Square. “We’re looking forward to another exciting year of Brews in The Sky and are honored to support the inspiring efforts of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.”
Beginning Oct. 3, craft beer lovers can enjoy their favorite brews and try new flavors while soaking up sweeping views of the Atlanta skyline on the first four Thursdays in October from 6 to 8 p.m. New this year, each Brews in the Sky event will feature two popular breweries. Dates and participating breweries are outlined below:
- West Georgia Brews, Thursday, Oct. 3 – Printer’s Ale and Wild Leap Brew Co.

Guests can also enjoy specialty spiced pecans, a fall delicacy provided by Holeman & Finch, the award-winning restaurant concept by Chef Linton and Gina Hopkins that will open at Colony Square next year. Attendees are invited to bring their favorite lite bites to pair with each craft beer tasting during the sky-high event. Each session is exclusive to 50 guests and attendees must be 21 years or older.
“We’re thrilled to once again partner with Colony Square for Brews in The Sky and share this one-of-kind, elevated tasting experience with the Midtown community,” said Parker Maples, Atlanta manager for Printers Ale Manufacturing Company. “There’s nothing else in Atlanta that compares to Brews in The Sky, and we’re looking forward to taking our seasonal craft beers to new heights alongside the other participating breweries.”
