Chamberlain Hrdlicka is pleased to announce the addition of associates Stephanie Gilliam and Monica Pogula to the firm’s Labor and Employment practice.

Gilliam joins Chamberlain’s Houston office and has experience with claims in state and federal courts and before administrative bodies, such as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the U.S. Department of Labor. She litigates complex and often contentious matters, including individual, class and collective actions arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and similar state and federal laws governing workplace rights and obligations.

Prior to joining Chamberlain, Gilliam served as in-house counsel to one of the nation’s largest oil and gas industry service providers. She works exclusively in the area of labor and employment law, providing day-to-day general compliance advice to senior management and human resources professionals.

Gilliam earned her undergraduate degree from Texas State University and her juris doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston.

Pogula joins Chamberlain’s Atlanta office and has a wide-ranging background in labor and employment law. She works with both government entities and private corporations on a broad range of labor and employment matters, including litigation of Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Equal Pay Act and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Pogula regularly assists her clients with issues including sexual harassment investigations; drafting employee policies and procedures; advising on day-to-day employee issues such as discipline, leave management and terminations.

Pogula earned her undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University and her juris doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School.
