Ballard Spahr Partners Stefanie Jackman and Kim Phan have been nominated for the Receivables Professional of the Year award.

The award is the highest honor given out by Receivables Advisor, a national magazine dedicated to covering the collection profession. Winners will be announced in November.

Ms. Jackman is a partner in the firm's Atlanta office. She represents financial services institutions—including debt collectors and debt buyers—counseling them on compliance, advising them during government investigations, and defending them in individual and class action lawsuits.

Ms. Phan, based in the firm's Washington, D.C., office, provides guidance to financial institutions—including debt collectors and debt buyers— on regulatory compliance matters, including privacy and data security obligations. Before joining Ballard Spahr, she represented DBA International, a trade association for the debt buying industry.

Ms. Jackman and Ms. Phan were previously named to Collection Advisor’s 25 Most Influential Women in Collections list. Ms. Jackman also was named one of the 25 Top Attorneys in Collections by Collections Advisor in 2018.
