Global Construction and Development Company Taking 15,000 SF at 245 Peachtree Center Avenue
Skanska USA, a leading global development and construction firm, announced today that it is moving its Atlanta office to Peachtree Center’s Marquis One at 245 Peachtree Center Avenue. Taking 15,004-square-feet on the 25th floor, the company is relocating from 55 Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd. Skanska will take occupancy of the new space in Q2 of 2020.
“The new office at Marquis One positions us in a strategic location where we are able to better serve our clients in a space that meets our evolving business needs,” said Scott Cannon, executive vice president and general manager of Skanska’s building operations in Georgia and South Carolina. “The well-located building is outfitted with the finest amenities for our clients and employees, in the heart of the city, meeting the commuting needs of our staff with easy access to public transportation and highways.”
Skanska’s new office will feature an open workspace environment and a common area for gathering. There will be a number of large training rooms as well as idea rooms for collaboration and privacy. Materials used in the construction will include light oak wood floors, veneer brick on exterior walls and lots of black accents.
“We have a culture of transparency where leadership is open and accessible. Meeting rooms and offices will have glass walls, and the reception hub will be a combination greeting area and breakroom that will be a super active space and exude southern hospitality,” added Cannon.
The Marquis Towers are currently undergoing a renovation project that will include a new fitness center, revitalization of outdoor spaces and a new conference center complete with a training room, board room and breakout niches. The office building lobbies are also being revamped with exciting new art, lighting, furniture and active gathering spaces. The renovation of the Marquis Towers is expected to be complete by the end of this year.

Colliers International handled both sides of the deal, with Senior Vice Presidents Deming Fish and Jessica Doyle as the landlord representatives for Banyan Street Capital and Senior Vice Presidents Drew Levine and Bob Ward as the tenant representatives for Skanska.PDR is the interior architect and Skanska will complete the build out.
