Allison Bittel

Colliers International Atlanta has hired Allison Bittel as Senior Vice President in its Occupier Services Group. Bittel brings 18 years of commercial office leasing experience to Colliers.

“Allison will be a great addition to our Occupier Services team,” said Colliers Atlanta Chairman and CEO Bob Mathews. “She’s well-respected in the commercial real estate community and has consistently been one of the top female tenant representatives in the city. She has also been a great advocate for connecting women executives,” he said.

Bittel’s new leadership role with Colliers will include pioneering a new strategic initiative. “Allison’s expertise and skills will add great value to this initiative and the Office Occupier Services team,” said Colliers Atlanta President and COO Holly Hughes. “We’re excited to watch this new initiative unfold under her leadership,” she said.

Bittel serves on the board of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, where she leads the mentorship program. She’s a former member of the executive alumni board of her alma mater, Rhodes College, and is active with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Light Walk and American Heart Association Heart Walk.

Bittel is a native Atlantan who grew up in the real estate business, learning at an early age from her father, the late Joel Griffin, a well-known local developer. She began her career in 2001 and is considered a trailblazer to young women in the industry.

“I want younger women to know that it is possible to work in this industry and have a family,” says Bittel. “You don’t strive for balance, but an integration of work and home life.”
