Susan A. Russell
Baker Donelson has added Susan A. Russell to the Firm's Atlanta office as a member of the Intellectual Property Group.
Ms. Russell joins the Firm as of counsel and has extensive experience with intellectual property and international matters, allowing her to provide comprehensive and practical strategies to efficiently and effectively resolve complex matters related to trademark, copyright, and trade secret transactions, prosecution, enforcement, and litigation. She also advises clients on international intellectual property law disputes, social media, online legal disputes, as well as right of publicity and advertising law. Ms. Russell assists her clients with USPTO matters, including trademark search and clearance, response to Office Actions, and post-registration petitions; and TTAB proceedings, including opposition and cancellation matters. She also regularly works with clients on DMCA copyright takedown notices, UDRP domain name disputes and transfers, IP infringement and enforcement matters, and IP contract and licensing matters.

Ms. Russell is a member of the International Trademark Association and of the American Bar Association's Intellectual Property Law Section's IP Transactions and Licensing Committee. She is also an Inaugural Advisory Board member of the State Bar of Georgia's Entertainment & Sports Law Section; a member of the State Bar of Georgia's IP Section's Trademark Committee; an Inaugural Atlanta Chapter Founding Committee member and Events & Programming Committee Chair for ChIPs (Chiefs in IP); an Advisory Board member for Georgia Intellectual Property Alliance; an Advisory Board member for Georgia Lawyers for the Arts; a member of the Atlanta IP Inn of Court; and a pro bono volunteer for several organizations.
