Colony Square Kicks Off New Weekly Event Series “Groovin’ in The Grove” this Friday

Experience The Grove, Midtown’s newest urban park with live musical performances all summer long

Colony Square invites the community to spend their summer Fridays unwinding at Groovin’ in The Grove, a weekly live music series held in the shady, artful surroundings of The Grove, a newly opened urban park along the 14th Street corridor in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. Beginning this Friday and lasting through August 30, Groovin’ in The Grove will offer complimentary, live entertainment every Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. The event series kick offs with a performance by the popularEmerald Empire Band.

During Groovin’ in The Grove, Establishment will set up a mobile bar on their newly expanded outdoor patio where guests can purchase specialty libations to enjoy in the urban park. Throughout the event series, local eateries such as Rumi’s Kitchen and Sukoshi will pop-up in The Grove, offering attendees a sneak peek of the culinary experiences coming soon to Colony Square.

Additionally, Groovin’ in The Grove’s inaugural show will be held in conjunction with the 2019 Atlanta Moon Ride, an annual cycling event where thousands participate in a night ride through Midtown to raise money for local nonprofit Bert’s Big Adventure. Before the Moon Ride festivities begin, Colony Square invites bikers to stop by The Grove to enjoy live music and pick up free glow-in-the-dark bicycle swag.
