The specialty cake boutique will occupy an expanded retail space at the new mixed-use village

RocaPoint Partners announces IT'S A SWEET LIFE will open a new location at Halcyon, the 135-acre mixed-use development in Forsyth County, in summer 2019. Founded in 2009, the boutique bakery offers a range of sweet treats, but is best known for creating high-end specialty cakes for any occasion.

A lifelong baker, Amie Pagan started IT'S A SWEET LIFE in her home as a hobby before growing it into a successful, full-time career. Looking to expand her venture, Pagan was drawn to Halcyon for its strong commitment to local enterprise, community atmosphere and advantageous location just north of Atlanta.

“The cornerstone of our business is providing our clientele with exceptional custom cakes with unmatched service,” said Pagan. “Our relocation to Halcyon will bolster our ability to continue offering one-of-a-kind creations to the growing Atlanta event market.”

Pagan’s new location at Halcyon will feature a larger space for baking, preparation and decorating, which allows her to take more orders and meet increased demand for specialty, event-oriented cakes and specialty confections for the rapidly growing wedding and event industries.

Pagan hopes to hold tasting pop-ups at Halcyon for event planners and bridal parties to sample her creations in the upcoming months before the official grand opening.
