Prestwick Companies announces restaurants with pre-leasing underway for new apartments on The Chattahoochee River

The Prestwick Companies announced today that Reformation Brewery, Chattahoochee Coffee Company and Grand Champion BBQ will open new locations at The Eddy at Riverview Landing, a 310-unit luxury apartment community situated within a vibrant 82-acre mixed-use development on the banks of The Chattahoochee River in Smyrna.

The Eddy will open in Summer 2019 and provide residents with direct access to the river, coffee shop, brewery and BBQ restaurant. A six-acre park will be the anchor of an abundance of outdoor amenities such as a riverfront multiuse trail, a kayak launch, a public dock, observation decks and an outdoor music stage.

Reformation Brewery, a fast-growing craft brewer based in nearby Woodstock, will occupy approximately 2,400 square feet of street-level retail space at The Eddy. Since launching its first location in 2013, Reformation Brewery has quickly ascended to the forefront of metro Atlanta’s craft beer scene. Founded by two former seminary students and taking its namesake from the historic Protestant Reformation of 1517, the brand aims to break away from traditional institutional tastes and elevate the experience around well-made beer.

Grand Champion BBQ will accompany Reformation Brewery in the food and beer hall at The Eddy. An Atlanta favorite with locations in Milton, Roswell, Marietta and Krog Street Market, Grand Champion BBQ will occupy approximately 1,300 square feet of space. Since opening its first location in Roswell in 2011, Grand Champion BBQ has been awarded many recognitions such as best beef brisket, macaroni and cheese, and baby back ribs in 2011 from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, best BBQ runner up in the state in 2013 from Atlanta Magazine, and one of the top 13 BBQ joints in the nation by Zagat in 2015.

Chattahoochee Coffee Company, known for its strong, delicious javas and commitment to impact disadvantaged and at-risk communities around the globe, has flourished since opening in 2012. The Eddy will become the company’s third metro Atlanta store.

Matrix Residential, the award-winning property management subsidiary of Atlanta-based multifamily investor and operator Pollack Shores, began pre-leasing The Eddy at Riverview Landing in October.
