Community invited to learn, play and connect with interactive installations along The Boulevard
North American Properties (NAP) today announced internationally recognized technology company Samsung is bringing its 10 Years of Galaxy celebration to Avalon, Alpharetta’s award-winning mixed-use destination. Now open, the Samsung Experience Tour pop-up will feature an interactive installation in Avalon’s Palmer Plaza. The activation will be open to the public through Sunday, May 12.

In partnership with We’re Magnetic, the Samsung Experience Tour is designed to honor 10 years of Galaxy mobile computing devices and the launch of the new Galaxy S10 smartphone. Guests of the experience will have the unique opportunity to unlock creativity, culture and engage with the community like never before. Located in Avalon’s Palmer Plaza (between Oak Steakhouse and Coletta), guests and passersby can explore multisensory installations, live gaming tournaments, local cuisine, performances, workshops and more. An additional creator pod will be located in The Plaza in front of Concierge.
Throughout the activation, guests are encouraged to share their photo creativity in the /make studio using Samsung’s Galaxy S10 revolutionary dual front camera for selfies and the ultra-wide rear camera lens for group shots. For the ultimate gaming experience, the/game Studio will feature crystal clear displays, dramatic lighting with neon accents and state-of-the-art product displays. Here, participants can compete with thousands of gamers across the Samsung Experience Tour and even tap into live sessions with top Fortnite players.
The pop-up will also feature an advanced health and fitness space where guests can experience Samsung’s new Galaxy Watch Active smart watches, clear their mind with Samsung’s meditation program, Health and Calm, and visit the activation’s Art of Fitness zone to create custom works of art based on individual biometrics. In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to test and purchase new mobile devices, learn how to set up a connected home with SmartThings, receive product support and service from Samsung Care and connect with local Atlanta Galaxy fans.
