As a Merrill Lynch Financial Advisor since 1979, Doug Justice is an experienced industry professional who has built a noteworthy career helping investors achieve long-term financial success. Whether he’s assisting individuals with their retirement and legacy planning needs or foundations, associations and endowments with complex financial strategies, Doug bases every engagement on the tenets of trust and integrity. This high standard helps clients eliminate complexity, streamline recommendations and achieve their goals. He is a qualified Portfolio Manager who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing their own personalized or defined strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, Merrill Lynch model portfolios, and third-party investment strategies. When servicing clients through the firm’s Investment Advisory Program, a Portfolio Manager may manage clients strategies on a discretionary basis.

To best support clients’ objectives, Doug develops a disciplined asset allocation around one of five basic investor profiles using custom investment management strategies. His thorough, diligent and multifaceted approach helps clients manage the vast marketplace with relevancy throughout their various stages of wealth. Consequently, he has supported many clients for over three decades, engaging in mutigenerational relationships as family members plan for passing on a meaningful legacy while enjoying the financial life they desire.

By upholding quality service to select investors, Doug provides the level of attention and care affluent clients desire for lasting success. He and his wife, Mary, have been married for over 35 years, and have a son and daughter-in-law, Clint and Kimberly and grandson, Jonathan. When he’s not in the office, Doug enjoys exercising, traveling, geneology and learning the German language.

Since the beginning of his financial services career in 1981, Benny's area of emphasis has been portfolio management. His focus has been on the creation of investment strategy, asset allocation recommendations and portfolio construction/security selection.

Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Benny served on the Portfolio Management Advisory Councils of both Oppenheimer and Morgan Stanley. Benny also holds the designation of Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) awarded by the Investments & Wealth Institute™ (The Institute) and taught in conjunction with the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Kennesaw State University and has Certifications of Portfolio Management from The Babson School of Executive Education in Boston, DePaul University in Chicago and The University of Chicago Booths School of Business. He also holds the Series 7, 31, 63 and 65 FINRA registrations.

In his spare time Benny serves on The Board of Trustees of the Atlanta International School and the Alliance Theatre of The Woodruff Art Center. Benny and his wife, Roxanne, have two children, Leila and Sofia. His hobbies include skiing, mountain biking and traveling.

Today, he applies this attention to detail in his client relationships, always working hard helping clients to achieve their financial goals — whether he’s addressing equities, hedge funds, managed futures or other financial strategies.

Jordan graduated from Berry College with a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics. Jordan is married to Michelle, and they enjoy spending time with their children, Madison and Jacob.

Mary Ellen has been married to Scott for 35 years and has three children and one grandchild. Alex who is married and lives in Atlanta, Anna who lives with her son, Aiden, in Atlanta, and Patsy, who is her business partner at Merrill Lynch and lives in Atlanta.
