ATLANTA, Feb. 12, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sage, the global leader in cloud business management solutions, today announced that Jennifer Warawa, Executive Vice President of Partners, Accountants & Alliances for Sage; Scott Ehmen, Vice President of Partner Strategy for Sage North America; and Taylor Macdonald, Senior Vice President of Channel Sales for Sage Intacct have been named to CRN’s list of 2019 Channel Chiefs.

Sage has a global ecosystem of over 40,000 partners and the Sage and Sage Intacct partner programs saw tremendous growth in 2018 under this leadership team. Sage added 75 new partners in North America, a market that now includes over 11,000 accountants, strategic alliances with Salesforce and American Express, and over 600 VARs. Following its acquisition by Sage in 2017, the Sage Intacct team has seen a record 34 percent growth in its partner ecosystem with the addition of 20 new partners. Sage Intacct has attracted the best of the best to its channel programs, boasting 31 of the Top 100 CPA firms and 30 of the Top 100 VARs in the industry.

“We’re committed to aggressively growing and developing our partner ecosystem,” said Jennifer Warawa, Executive Vice President of Partners, Accountants & Alliances for Sage. “Beyond growth, we’re zeroing in on how to best support our partners as they grow their businesses and inject their own innovations into Sage Business Cloud.”

Warawa leads the global strategy and execution of the partner programs at Sage. She focuses on helping partners grow their businesses, developing strategic alliances, fostering new business development opportunities, as well as partner recruitment. Warawa, who was a 2018 CRN Channel Chief, also oversees the creation and execution of Sage’s worldwide accountant strategy and partner model.

As the North American lead, Scott Ehmen creates programs that enable partner growth. He also manages channel sales across Sage partners including VARs, System Integrators, and ISVs throughout North America. This is the second year in a row that Scott has been named as a Channel Chief.

Taylor Macdonald has nearly 30 years of experience building and operating some of the largest and most successful channel programs in the world for financial and ERP software providers. At Sage, Macdonald is responsible for managing the Value Added Reseller (VAR) and CPA channel initiatives for Sage Intacct. Macdonald was also named a 2018 Channel Chief, and a Top Channel Champion for five consecutive years.

Channel Chief honorees are selected by CRN’s editorial staff as a result of their professional achievements, standing in the industry, dedication to the channel partner community, and strategies for driving future growth and innovation. Each honoree has demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision, and commitment to their channel partner programs.
