Stefanie Wayco Joins DLA Piper's Litigation Practice in Atlanta

DLA Piper announced today that Stefanie Wayco has joined the firm's Litigation practice as a partner in Atlanta.

Wayco focuses her practice on representing financial services firms, broker-dealers, investment advisors, prime brokers and securities industry professionals in regulatory and enforcement matters, civil litigation and arbitrations. Her practice also includes the defense of enforcement matters before securities industry regulators, including the SEC, FINRA and state regulators in addition to leading internal investigations linked to enforcement matters or litigations.

"Stefanie's extensive background will strengthen our practice offerings for clients facing securities litigation and related investigations, consistent with our growing capabilities in these areas," said James Brogan, co-chair of DLA Piper's US Litigation practice. Wayco, who joins DLA Piper from Greenberg Traurig, received her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, her M.A. from New York University and her B.S. from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
