ETB Homes brings personalized experiences to the 55+ market with Retreat communities

Engel & Völkers North Fulton and ETB Homes today announce the homebuilder’s new Retreat communities, which are residential homes geared toward the active adult market in Cherokee and Cobb Counties. The boutique residential homebuilder announced plans for two active adult neighborhoods in Acworth and Woodstock, Retreat at Oak Grove and Retreat at Victory, both slated to begin construction early this year.

“The active adult residential market is flourishing in the Greater Atlanta area, with a high concentration of activity among buyers in Cherokee and Cobb County,” said Shirley Gary, CEO of Engel & Völkers Buckhead Atlanta and North Fulton. “ETB Homes has long been known for building high-end custom homes in-town Atlanta. Now they are bringing their custom home-building experience into the active adult market, giving an added benefit to future homeowner’s by adding their “custom touches” and still maintaining an affordable price. They have made it their mission to provide the active adult market with a customized, practical and quality home with a thoughtful design at an attainable price.”

ETB Homes, specializing in building custom, high-end homes in Atlanta’s in-town market, provides the same personalized experience to buyers in the 55+ market with single-family homes starting in the mid-$300s. Each home will include a variety of maintenance-free exterior architectural designs with brick, stone, and/or board-batten siding, covered lanais, and irrigation systems on the exteriors. Interiors include 11’ ceilings in the great room (per plan), hardwood in most of the living areas, and extensive crown molding and trim throughout. Chef’s kitchens include designer 42” cabinets, granite, subway tile backsplash, and stainless appliances. A huge benefit to their homes is the finished second-story, which is optional with many other builders.

“As homeowners, active adults have high expectations and are looking for a personalized retreat alongside incredibly useful amenities that cater to their needs, such as dog and gardening parks,” said Mike Primato, Vice President of Operations of ETB Homes. “We’re excited to bring the custom feel to this market with our new Retreat collection, providing buyers with a variety of layouts, and outstanding attention to detail in a social active adult setting.
