Forsyth County’s RBM of Alpharetta introduces a new way to interact with innovations from one of the top auto brands in the world

RocaPoint Partners today announces RBM of Alpharetta will open the first permanent, small-format Mercedes-Benz experience location at HALCYON, the $370 million mixed-use village in Forsyth County. The experience-driven center is slated to open in conjunction with the grand opening of the mixed-use village and will offer access to new Mercedes-Benz product launches, select brand accessories and purchasing incentives for HALCYON customers.

In late 2017, Mercedes-Benz launched its first pop-up store in the country at Atlanta’s Lenox Mall, to begin exploring the experiential and retail capabilities of the auto brand. There are currently three Mercedes-Benz pop-up stores around the U.S., but HALCYON will host a slightly different interactive experience within the mixed-use village. Mimicking the layout of the pop-up stores, the HALCYON location will incorporate modern design elements with experiential factors, including interactive digital displays, and showcasing new vehicles, creating a new way to interact with innovations from one of the top auto brands in the world. Knowledgeable product specialists will offer information on the luxury auto brand and access to new Mercedes-Benz product launches.

In addition to the new experience center, RBM of Alpharetta will also sponsor HALCYON’s valet and will display the latest Mercedes-Benz models near the valet station. RBM of Alpharetta will also sponsor special events, including concerts on the green space and other opportunities for interactive brand experiences.

“We are excited to strengthen the connection between our dealership and the community through this new location at HALCYON,” said RBM of Alpharetta Marketing Director Susan Grace. “The experience center and valet service within HALCYON gives us the chance to reach more people within the Forsyth County community, while enhancing their experiences at the village.”

To boost convenience between the nearby RBM of Alpharetta dealership, just two-and-a-half miles from HALCYON, and the new retail space, a shuttle service to-and-from HALCYON will be provided to allow customers waiting on vehicle maintenance an opportunity to enjoy exploring the outdoor mixed-use village and visiting the experiential store.

“Bringing this type of interactive retail from RBM of Alpharetta to HALYCON allows us to explore a variety of retail formats within the village,” said RocaPoint Partners Principal Phil Mays. “With this space, we are continuing to offer a diverse mix of retail and experiences that truly sets our center apart. We are thrilled to partner with RBM of Alpharetta as we are completing the final touches on our vision for the HALCYON experience.”

HALCYON is currently under construction. RocaPoint Partners and New York-based The Georgetown Company make up the development team. Retail landlord representation is provided by JLL. HALCYON includes 480,000 square feet of office and retail space, a luxury dine-in movie theater, a Big Creek Greenway trailhead and extension, two hotels and 690 residential units.
