More than 45 cities in the State of Georgia passed the Brunch Bill earlier this month, allowing restaurants and bars to serve alcohol beginning at 11 a.m. on Sundays. The vote passed in Alpharetta at an overwhelming rate, joining surrounding communities such as Roswell and Johns Creek. The Georgia Restaurant Association predicts the extra 90 minutes will lead to nearly $500 in additional revenue, per restaurant, per Sunday equaling an estimated $26,000 increase in revenue in a calendar year per participating establishment. The date the bill goes into effect varies by city.
