The Ellis Hotel hosted reception for winners of its Women’s Only Floor Recognition Event
The Ellis Hotel, downtown Atlanta's only boutique and independent hotel, invited the winners of its 10 “Remarkable Georgia Women” campaign to a reception in honor of their recognition on Nov. 8. A framed biography has been placed inside a room on The Ellis Hotel’s Women’s Only Floor to represent each woman’s life and story.
Earlier this year, Atlantans nominated -- and then voted for -- inspiring Georgia women to be honored. These ten admirable women were the culmination of that search.

The Ellis Hotel's Women's Only Floor was designed to celebrate women and features art from Atlanta nonprofit The Chelko Foundation (which seeks to empower women through art).

The Women’s Only Floor is a private-elevator access floor reserved for female travelers only and designed to celebrate women the moment they step onto the floor. Upon arrival, guests receive an Ellis cosmetics bag full of L'Occitane conveniences including effervescent bath salts, moisturizing hand crème, gentle face cream, soothing eye patches, a refreshing cleansing cloth, lavender pillow mist, ultra-rich lip balm, and a seven-inch nail file.. Inside each room, guests can enjoy comfy slippers, plush robes, Gilchrist & Soames toiletries, mineral bath gel, a body scrub pad and use of a curling iron and a flat iron.
