Raleigh-based analytics technology company Insightsoftware has purchased CXO Software for an undisclosed amount.
CXO Software was founded in 2007 and has headquarters in the Netherlands and Roswell, Georgia. It aims to deliver real-time insight in relevant financial data from all leading enterprise project management systems to chief financial officers.
Some of its clients include McDonald’s, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Randstad and Siemens.
“Joining Insightsoftware will enable us to make larger scale investments in our platform,” said CXO Software CEO of the Americas Wouter Born. “Their global presence and diverse solution set will allow us to help our multi-national customers make even smarter, more collaborative decisions around their financial data.”
Insightsoftware specializes in creating technology to help businesses analyze financial and operational statistics.
In October, Insightsoftware acquired Excel4apps and became the leading worldwide provider of Excel-based enterprise reporting solutions for finance departments.
Insightsoftware’s mission is to streamline financial and operational reporting for its customers, regardless of the size of their business, the enterprise resource planning or enterprise project management system they use.
Insightsoftware CEO Mike Lipps said CXO Software is a natural fit with Insightsoftware’s existing portfolio.
