The National Association of Women Business Owners Broward/Palm Beach (NAWBO) held their annual public policy forum at their October dinner meeting. The meeting was overflowing with women business owners of all sizes gathered to discuss impacts to women owned businesses as it pertains to the November elections. Guest of honor Jeremy Ring, Politician and Former Tech Startup Executive from Florida joined the conversation.
“South Florida is full of successful women owned businesses. It’s up to us to ensure that our voices are being heard and that we understand and discuss the policies that are impacting our livelihoods. Propelling women entrepreneurs into economic, social and political spheres of power worldwide by strengthening the wealth creating capacity of our members within the entrepreneurial community has always been at the forefront of NAWBO's mission. It must be a priority at the local level as well,” says President, Inez Romaguera.
For over 40 years the National Association of Women Business Owners has been one of the longest-standing premiere networking groups in Broward and Palm Beach County. With thousands of members on a National level, the local chapter has carved out a niche for successful women in the community that are changing the rules and making millions.
Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Marriott North located at 6650 North Andrews Avenue in Fort Lauderdale. Networking starts at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting starts promptly at 6:30 p.m. Next month CEO of PCF International Integrated Marketing & Technology, Ginger G. Peterson will be discussing “Marketing To Grow Your Business!”
