Live demos, touch-a-trucks, interactive activities and more to celebrate National Night Out
WHAT: On Thursday, Oct. 11 from 5 to 8 p.m., friends and families are invited to Avalon for Alpharetta’s Night Out, an exciting event for the community to learn from the neighborhood’s local public safety men and women. To educate attendees on safety and the life-saving duties of first responders, North Fulton’s various public safety departments will be on-site to perform live demonstrations, host touch-a-trucks and provide special safety-themed activations for kids and families.
Alpharetta’s Night Out is held in conjunction with National Night Out, a nationwide, annual community-building initiative dedicated to promoting the local camaraderie that makes our neighborhoods safe, caring places to live. The Alpharetta Police and Fire Department, including the K-9 Unit, will be at Avalon throughout the evening. Note: demonstrations may contain simulated gunfire.
