September 14th at Emory University’s Miller-Ward Alumni House
(seating will be limited)

The Human Factor in Entrepreneurship and Investing will be the subject of an interactive panel discussion presented by The RAISE Forum, in conjunction with Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, introduced by Professor Charlie Goetz - Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at the Goizueta Business School, Serial Entrepreneur.

The panel will include:

  • Jewel Burks – Founder of PartPic and tech entrepreneur

  • Lisa Calhoun – Partner at Valor Ventures and co-found of Startup Runway

  • Cres Ferrell – Serial entrepreneur and VP at BIP Capital

  • Lori Chmura - CEO of Dune Medical Devices

These veterans of startups and investing will explore the human aspects of growing a business, well beyond spreadsheets, milestones and ROI: Consider the chemistry, diversity and balance of your teams; take a look at the corporate culture, environment and morale of your workplace; think about how to grow after you’ve proved the concept and consider what the derailers might be.

Everything will be on the table – including questions from the audience – as some of the smartest and most influential people in the Atlanta startup community gather to discuss the creativity, relationships, fears and passions that power success.

Breakfast will be served. Tickets will be limited. Attendees are highly recommended to reserve in advance.
