Jonathan Palmer

After fifteen years in legal practice, Jonathan Palmer, an experienced and well-known Atlanta attorney with a robust litigation practice focusing on insurance recovery law and other business disputes, today announces the launch of his solo practice. In addition to business litigation, the new firm, Jonathan Palmer Law, LLC, also will focus on other complex civil litigation, including class actions, products liability and catastrophic personal injury cases.

Over the course of his legal career, Palmer has represented clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies and large municipalities to small and medium-sized companies to individuals. He has participated in landmark cases resulting in the recovery of hundreds of millions of dollars for his policyholder clients, has played an active role in nationwide consumer class actions and has helped companies and individuals recover losses caused by the actions of others.

Palmer will join a significant number of other entrepreneurial attorneys who have become of counsel to Conley Griggs Partin LLP, one of the largest plaintiffs firms in Georgia, and will have his office in that firm’s space located at 4200 Northside Parkway in Atlanta. He will also continue in an of counsel role and maintain a close referral relationship with Doffermyre Shields Canfield & Knowles, LLC, where he also will keep an office.

“Having worked alongside Jonathan for more than ten years, we are delighted to add him to our expanding team,” said Conley Griggs Partin founding partner Ranse Partin. “He shares our commitment to results and our vision of dedication, integrity, compassion and courage.”

Prior to starting his solo practice, Palmer practiced for nine years alongside Everette Doffermyre and Ken Canfield, two of the state’s most highly regarded trial attorneys. Before that, he was an associate at Kilpatrick Stockton in Atlanta. Palmer began his legal career as an associate at Dickstein Shapiro in Washington, D.C. where he helped convince Maryland's highest court to rule that workplace exposure claims were not barred by the absolute pollution exclusion, one of only a few rulings of its kind.

Palmer is a native of Cedartown, G.A. He received his undergraduate degree from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama and his law degree from The George Washington School of Law in Washington, D.C. Palmer was on the Moot Court Board and won Best Brief, Best Oralist and Best Overall Competitor awards in the Van Vleck Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition.

Palmer can be contacted at jonathan@jonathanpalmerlaw.com or by phone at 404.720.0750. To learn more about his practice, visit jonathanpalmerlaw.com.
