Kerry Blind
Design firm Cooper Carry announced today the appointment of Kerry Blind as the firm’s Director of Landscape Architecture. In his new role, Blind will be responsible for leading the firm’s landscape architecture studio, bolstering innovative design capabilities and driving business development efforts.

Cooper Carry’s landscape architecture studio has seen tremendous growth in recent months. Notable projects include Park Center in Dunwoody, Georgia, Georgia Southern University Dining Commons in Statesboro, Georgia and NASA Langley Research Center Headquarters in Hampton, Virginia.

Blind most recently served as the senior vice president of RVi Planning + Landscape Architecture, where he focused much of his design work on site sustainability, resource preservation, and ecologically sound master and land use planning. Prior to joining RVi Planning + Landscape, Blind served as the president of his own firm, Kerry Blind & Associates LLC, providing environmentally sensitive and green infrastructure solutions to both community planning and site-specific development projects.
Blind received his BS in landscape architecture from Purdue University. He has been recognized with several marquee industry honors, including the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Fellowship designation, the highest honors the ASLA can bestow on a member. Blind is also active with Urban Land Institute-Atlanta, Lambda Alpha International, the Georgia Conservancy and the Southface Energy Institute Sustainable Atlanta Round Table Steering Committee.
