Sentry Roof Services slated to finish roof construction on 210,000-square-foot facility

Sentry Roof Services, an Atlanta-based commercial and industrial roofing contractor, started construction on the Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC headquarters at Assembly Yards, the redevelopment project of the former General Motors plant in Doraville. The roof construction includes 44,211 square feet of project space and is slated for completion by early summer 2018.

With more than 35 years of experience working with unique commercial properties, Sentry Roof Services will install a high-performance, durable roofing system to Serta Simmons’ multi-level corporate office building and parking deck. The commercial roofing contractor’s installation includes a fully adhered 60 Mil TPO roofing membrane and sheet metal system.

Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC, the Atlanta-based Fortune 400 mattress manufacturer, is relocating its corporate headquarters to Assembly Yards, utilizing over five acres of land for its 210,000-square-foot facility, including cutting-edge research development centers and international showrooms. Holder Properties is the developer for the project.

Sentry Roof Services is currently working on a variety project types, including the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Landside Modernization project and the reroofing of both Concourse A and B, as well as East Point City Hall.
