Colony Square to Host “Break Into Business” Summer Camp at WeWork in June

6/4/18

Entrepreneurial experience for kids returns for two week-long sessions

WHAT: School may be out for the summer, but Break Into Business, a nonprofit organization with a mission to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs, is back in session at Colony Square this June. Designed for aspiring entrepreneurs ages 9 to 14, Break Into Business provides kids with the opportunity to launch their own business during two week-long sessions, scheduled for June 4 – 8 and June 11 – 15.

Each day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., campers will collaborate in WeWork’s coworking hub at Colony Square, working to transform an idea into a profitable business model. This exclusive entrepreneurial experience motivates kids to bring their creative ideas to life by executing the steps of putting a business plan into action. Throughout the week, kids will practice idea generation, market research, brand creation, promotional strategy, budget crunching and more before entering the Shark Tank to pitch their first sale.

This unique platform is designed to keep children engaged and inspired outside of the classroom, allowing them to exercise important life skills such as creative and critical thinking. For more information and to register, visit the links below:
