Colony Square’s Free Weekly Yoga on the Square to Feature Druminyasa on April 18

Renowned percussionist Brad Elsworth to blend soothing drum sounds with vinyasa flow in The Plaza

WHAT: Atlanta yogis are invited to a special Yoga on The Square experience at Colony Square: Druminyasa. On Wednesday, April 18 from 6 to 7:15 p.m., this unique class will blend the rhythmic practice of vinyasa yoga with relaxing, live percussion beats performed by well-known percussionist Brad Elsworth.

During the practice, yogaletes will melt into a vinyasa routine led by Dancing Dogs Yoga Atlanta instructor Shelley Lowther, flowing to the tranquil tune of drumming in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. During this one-of-a-kind event, Druminyasa will enlighten the mind and body, creating an appreciation for movement-inspired rhythm.

Yoga on The Square is a part of Colony Square’s Signature Event series, featuring free weekly yoga classes each Wednesday now through September 26. This year’s Signature Event series also features a weekly Farmer’s Market each Monday through September 24, and exclusive Jazz in the Sky performances in conjunction with the Atlanta Jazz Festival each Tuesday in May.
