State Bank Launches $20k Small Business Grant Video Contest

4/16/18

State Bank and Trust Company today announced the launch of the 2018 State Bank Small Business Grant Video Contest, a statewide contest offering small business owners in Georgia the chance to win a $20,000 grant.

The State Bank Small Business Grant Video Contest runs April 16 through May 18, 2018. Entrants must submit a short (two minutes or less), original video through the State Bank website (www.smallbizgrant.com) explaining how the grant would be used. This is a chance for owners to tell the story of their business and share their passion. The grand prizewinner will receive a $20,000 grant, and two additional $5,000 grants will be awarded to the runner-ups.

Submissions will be judged by a panel of State Bank leadership and the grand prizewinner will be announced in June 2018.

“Small businesses play a critical role in our state’s economy, and these grants will provide three business owners with the financial support to take their businesses to the next level,” said State Bank CEO Tom Wiley. “We’re proud to support hardworking entrepreneurs across Georgia with the launch of this exciting contest, and we encourage all eligible business owners to enter.”

The 2018 State Bank Small Business Grant Video Contest is open to small businesses in the state of Georgia within the United States. Eligibility rules apply. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win this contest, and a purchase or payment of any kind will not improve the entrant’s chances of winning.

Please visit www.smallbizgrant.com for official contest rules and to submit your video for consideration.
