New YMCA Leadership & Learning Center toserve Atlanta youth, contribute to economic development in Vine City neighborhood

SG Contracting, the Atlanta-based construction company, is constructing a beacon in Atlanta’s Vine City neighborhood – the YMCA Leadership & Learning Center

.The structure, which will feature both new construction and the incorporation of a neighborhood landmark, is designed to be a reminder of Vine City’s rich history while acting as a catalyst for the future.

“We’re thrilled to partner with SG Contracting to bring our vision to life,” said Ed Munster, YMCA president and CEO. “This new headquarters will be part of the fabric of Vine City and Sachin and his team are part of writing the next chapter for this neighborhood.”

The 55,000-square foot, state-of-the-art facility will include the headquarters for the YMCA of Metro Atlanta, the YMCA’s Early Childhood Development Co., six Head Start classrooms, and the regional training center for more than 4,000 YMCA employees from across the Southeast.
