Cooper Carry Appoints Ray Bouley as Chief Growth Officer

Design firm Cooper Carry is pleased to announce the appointment of Ray Bouley as Chief Growth Officer. In his new role, Bouley will be responsible for drivingCooper Carry’s growth by focusing on strategic communications, cultural and brand development, revenue growth, talent recruitment and continued innovation across the firm’s designstudios.

As one of the top architectural firms in North America, Cooper Carry has experienced record growth over the last several years. Recent local projects include MetLife’s redevelopment in Midtown, Park Center in Dunwoody, The Hotel at Avalon in Alpharetta and Georgia Tech’s West Village Dining Commons. Nationally, Cooper Carry is leading the design for several high-profile projects, including Ballston Quarter in Arlington, Virginia, Las Olas Boulevard in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and One Daytona in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Bouley most recently served as the executive vice president and senior director of marketing and communications for JLL North America, where he was responsible for building a powerful, responsive and geographically diverse marketing organization within a highly matrixed work environment. Prior to JLL, Bouley served as president and co-founder of a marketing and brand development firm, offering strategic business solutions for companies moving through transition.

Bouley has been named to Atlanta’s Top 50 Entrepreneurs List, as well as recognized for numerous national and international awards. He received a BFA in photography from Rochester Institute of Technology and studied mergers and acquisitions at The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of work, Bouley has been active in the Atlanta community, working with a broad range of organizations that include Adopt-A-Grandparent, AID Atlanta, Bright Futures Atlanta, The Joseph C. Monastra Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research and Rainbow Village.
