The Allen Morris Company, one of the largest diversified real estate firms in the Southeast, with a 47-year presence and legacy in Atlanta, has closed on a 1.7 acre parcel of land in Atlanta’s West Midtown, at 1041 Howell Mill Road.
The $8.5 million acquisition will be home to Star Metals Offices, a 14-story, 222,000 square foot class ‘A’ tower with office space and ground floor retail, which will serve as the commercial component of the overall Star Metals Atlanta development, additionally comprised of 409 luxury multi-family units across the street. This latest acquisition of 1.7 acres adds to the total site of 4.75 acres for Star Metals Atlanta.
The company expects to begin demolition of the site later this year, with an anticipated completion of the office tower in the spring of 2020.
Leasing for Star Metals Offices is managed by the Atlanta office of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), headed by Jeff Bellamy, Managing Director.

The office amenities will include lushly landscaped outdoor terraces, multiple tenant collaboration areas, and bike rack/ shower facilities. The roof top restaurant / bar will provide a unique ‘glass house’ rooftop amenity with panoramic views of Buckhead, Midtown and Downtown.
