Fast-growing Third Wave coffee roaster cites downtown resurgence in decision to expand

The Dilweg Companies announced today that Revelator Coffee Company, a regional coffee roaster and retailer known for its commitment to quality products and community-driven customer experiences, will open its latest location in the recently reenergized lobby at 101 Marietta Street in Downtown Atlanta. Since its inception in 2014, the fast-growing coffee purveyor has exploded in popularity across the Southeast, and is expected to open at 101 Marietta Street in May.

Revelator Coffee is part of the Third Wave movement, which emphasizes ethical sourcing and connection to growers through thoughtful cultivation, selective harvest and careful postharvest practices. The company’s sweet and clean signature coffees have quickly put the premium brand at the forefront of Atlanta’s Third Wave group.

Revelator Coffee more than doubled in size last year after acquiring Atlanta-based Octane Coffee, with 101 Marietta Street becoming the ninth location in Atlanta city limits. Other Revelator locations include the Westside, Grant Park, Spring Street, Ponce City Market and Whole Foods: Chamblee-Brookhaven. Octane locations include the Westside, Woodruff Arts Center and Atlanta Tech Village.

101 Marietta Street recently underwent a $5 million renovation, delivering modern design and state-of-the-art amenities to the iconic office tower. The 36-story class A building features breathtaking skyline views, connectivity and premier access to major downtown destinations such as Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Centennial Olympic Park, CNN Center, Georgia Aquarium and the College Football Hall of Fame. 101 Marietta Street also offers convenient access to three MARTA train stations and is situated in the city’s newly dedicated arts and entertainment district.
